We left for India in an exploration mode, without too much waiting. Already 10 days have passed and we are frankly happy with our meetings and our finds. We clearly have a star following us.
Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan, a desert region with vibrant colors, turbaned men and where you can stay in beautiful havelis (small palace) but it is also a city of shopping par excellence.
All just arrived, we jump into the rickshaw. We do not yet have our two buttocks deposited beside our suitcases (slightly more filled than when we left) that the big Indian brands are parade; Arampali, Gem Palace, Anokhi, Idli, Andrade. A pleasure for the eyes.
Well, we didn't come to India to shop that for us, so we stay focus; Shopping for Palma. Pure happiness, we really fall on beautiful products and we are eager to put them on stage...!!!
It is in Jaipur that we make our first two real orders. Phew..... Nothing has yet arrived at destination (see the following with shipping!.....) The long hours spent with the suppliers gave us a little more assurance for what is to be followed. The people here are authentic, playful, full of life and professional.
Oh yes, we were going to forget, it's also the paradise of food. We discovered some little magic spots that rewarded us after our big days.
Jaipur invites us to come back.

Our trip to India was meant to be a trip of exploration, with no expectations. We had no doubts we would see beautiful handicrafts. Already 10 days passed by and we are true appreciative of the people we have met and the gorgeous fabrics and jewelry we have picked. It seems someone is watching over us.
Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan, a dessert land full of vibrant colours, men with turbans, camels and splendide havelis (local palaces), but it is also well known for its great shopping sites.
We jump in the rickshaw. Not even 5 minutes and all the great fashion names and jewelry houses of India appear one after the other, Arampali, Gem Palace, Anokhi, Idli, Andrade. Pure pleasure for the eyes. Of course we did not come all the way here to shop for ourself so back on the Palma schedule.
It's here that we make our first two transactions. Phew... we have no clue how shipping will turn out but it's so exciting. Many hours with the suppliers did give us a bit more confidence and assurance for what is up to come. People Here are authentic, full of good vibes and happy to help. We are so happy, we found so many great things and can't wait to put it on display.
Let's not forget Jaipur is also a food paradise. We found many great addresses that rewarded us after crazy days of intense work. Fun Fun.....
